MSA site or elsewhere, justice center is a must

May 2, 2003
The current City-County Building structure is inadequate, resulting in diminished service and also public and employee safety issues. We are currently combining civilian, public servant, law enforcement and criminal populations within a facility that has little, or no, security in public areas.

We could create a justice center on the Market Square site that would house a jail processing center, a booking center, and arraignment and criminal courts. The justice center could be tied to the City-County Building via tunnel for those who utilize both.

If you don't like the MSA site for a justice center, how about the old Central State Hospital site? Or maybe that million-dollar pig we gave United and create it on the city outskirts?
